Balclutha WAG and Regional Competition

WAG Step 1 girls had a great competition. Cleo, Amilah and Jorja competed for the very first time and didn’t let too many nerves affect their performance. Cleo, Greta, Emerson and Penelope all scored well over the 49 qualifying score. In Step 2 Lara performed with confidence and gained a 1st place in her vault. The Regional Competitive squad (Sybella, Kasey, Isla, Alexia, Charlise, Kayla, Charlotte, Sienna and Skyla) performed well and regained the competition spark. Some great supportive relationships are growing between the older and younger team members. This was the first “away” comp for Charlise and Kayla. Special mention goes to Alexia (Level 5) who “got on with the job” quietly and thoughtfully and won herself a gold medal. Congratulations to everyone.
