COVID 19

You must comply with all our health and safety procedures for Covid 19 (a copy of which can be viewed on our website) in particular gymnasts should not attend if they or a household contact, have any symptoms of Covid 19 e.g., cough, fever, sneezing, runny nose, loss of smell or taste. Check our refund policy below for details of fees treatment during lockdowns.

FEES

GfA or Gym for All 1hr classes are $135 for a 10 week term or pro rata for shorter terms. Regional Competitive, WAG, and MAG class fees depend on total weekly hours attended, please check with us as attendance for these competitive classes is by invite only.  

PAYMENT OF FEES

As a not for profit organisation we are very dependent on prompt payment to run the club efficiently. Registration and attendance of classes is considered to be entering into a commitment to our services. Registering for class commits you to payment of fees. We endeavour to keep fees as low as possible and do not offer discounts. Payment is required at the time of booking or in full by the due date and in advance of starting your class or session, unless a payment arrangement has been entered into and approved by Aspiring Gymsports. Please contact us at admin@aspiringgymsports.co.nz if you would like to make alternative payment arrangements. If fees are not paid by the due date, interest at a rate of 2.5% per month may be incurred. Entry to competitions or badge awards will be restricted for those whose training fees are in arrears. Full payment of competition fees and badges is required for a gymnast to attend any competition or badge assessment/award. Registration for further classes will not be accepted by those owing fees, unless a payment arrangement has been entered into and approved by Aspiring Gymsports. Any expenses, disbursement and legal costs incurred by Aspiring Gymsports for collection of amounts owing shall be paid by the customer, including reasonable solicitor’s fees and collection agency costs.

REFUND POLICY

Please select your class carefully as no refunds will be given for a change of mind. There are generally no refunds/credits/make-ups if you withdraw from or miss classes. Refunds to your bank or credits to your Aspiring Gymsports account apply only if we receive a minimum of 48 hours notice of withdrawal PRIOR to the commencement of the term or if not a term class, the session (e.g. holiday programme or drop in class). Partial refunds or credits due to extenuating circumstances such as long periods of time out of town or serious sickness/injury (presentation of a medical certificate required) may be issued if a minimum of three sessions are missed. Such refunds or credits will be at the sole discretion of Aspiring Gymsports. In all cases account credits are our preferred option and will not attract fees, refunds to bank accounts will incur a $25 administration fee on term bookings and $10 administration fee on holiday programme bookings.

Emergency closure: In the event we are unable to run classes due to Covid 19 or another emergency (e.g. weather, earthquake etc.), for sessions missed in the first week of closure, any term fees for the week will be forfeit. If closure extends beyond one week we will endeavour in the first instance to provide online sessions in lieu of sessions at the gym. If we are unable to provide online sessions for your class, a credit will be added to your gymnasts club account that will automatically be applied to any future bookings. In these circumstances, we are unable to offer refunds to bank accounts.
